MBizConnect — Privacy Policy

MBizConnect is a financial notification and account-management platform that connects customers of Mitsumi Distribution to their invoice and payment activity in real time. This policy explains what information MBizConnect collects, why, and how it is protected when you use the mobile app or the admin portal at mbizconnect.maize-cargo.com.

3. How your information is used

• To authenticate you and keep your account secure (including two-factor OTP verification).
• To display your invoice and payment history inside the app.
• To deliver real-time push notifications about new transactions.
• To respond to customer support requests.
• To maintain security and audit logs for fraud prevention and troubleshooting.

We do not use your information for advertising, and MBizConnect does not contain any ad networks or third-party trackers.

4. Who we share information with

MBizConnect shares the minimum data necessary with the following service used to operate the app:

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — used solely to deliver push notifications to your device. Only the device push token is shared; invoice and payment content are not included in the push payload beyond a short notification summary.

We do not sell your personal or financial information to any third party.

5. Data retention

Transaction history shown in the app is retained according to a configurable lookback window set by Mitsumi's administrators (the "history lookback" setting). Account and login records are retained for as long as your account is active, plus a limited period afterward for security and audit purposes.

6. Data security

• Passwords are stored using one-way salted hashing, never in plain text.
• All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
• Access to backend systems and the ERP integration is restricted to authorized administrators.

7. Your choices and rights

• You can change your password at any time from within the app.
• You can log out of the app at any time, which clears your local session.
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at notification@maize-cargo.com.
• You can disable notification permissions for the app at any time from your device settings.

8. Children's privacy

MBizConnect is a business application intended for use by Mitsumi's commercial customers and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. The "Effective date" above will be updated whenever this policy changes.
